Orchestrating the music in the agricultural transition
Accelerating the future of smart crop cultivation together
The world of digital agriculture is evolving rapidly. Across the Netherlands and beyond, numerous initiatives are emerging in digitalization, AI, and robotization within crop cultivation. Yet despite this growth, fragmentation remains a challenge. Projects often develop in parallel, while collaboration is key to unlocking real progress.
Next Tech Nature Farms is here to change that.
Connecting what already exists
Four Brabant-based development agencies with a strong plant-focused mindset — BOM (Brabant Development Agency), REWIN West-Brabant, Regio West-Brabant, and AgriFood Capital — see significant opportunities to better connect stakeholders. By encouraging knowledge sharing and collaboration, we help projects scale, strengthen impact, and move forward faster.
At the same time, organizations representing growers’ interests — such as ZLTO, GreenTechPort Brabant, Breda Robotics, and VDBorne Campus — recognize ongoing fragmentation and duplication in digitalization and automation projects. Collaboration does not happen automatically, but it is essential.
One network, nine partners
With the proactive support of the Province of North Brabant, nine organizations have now joined forces within Next Tech Nature Farms. Together, we aim to create greater synergy between ongoing agrifood projects and initiatives.
From insight to action
We begin by bringing projects together in interactive sessions. These sessions focus on identifying connections, uncovering shared opportunities, and supporting further development where initiators and partners see potential to collaborate.
In Q2 2026, we will officially launch the initiative. From Q3 2026, the first project synergy sessions will take place.
Building the future of agriculture, together
By connecting ideas, technologies, and people, Next Tech Nature Farms lays the foundation for a smarter, more efficient, and sustainable agricultural sector.
